Ms Shrestha has a Master's in Water Resources Engineering from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She began her career as an H&H Engineer with Waggoner Engineering in 2021 after her graduation. Since then she has gained experience with several phases of FEMA Risk Mapping such as Base Level Engineering, Discovery, Hydrologic analysis, Hydraulic analysis, and Quality Assurance. She has also been involved in dam inundation modeling, bridge scours modeling, and watershed planning projects. She has been sharpening her skills in developing 1D, 2D, and combined models as per project needs. She loves utilizing her education and training in solving real-world problems. Outside her work, she enjoys a good mystery novel.
