Associate Professor at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) since 2009, and was a professor for 4 and a half years at the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG). She holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), and a master's and doctorate in Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (IPH-UFRGS), having also worked for the private sector. Throughout her career, she has worked with research related to stormwater, including storm drainage systems, use of compensatory techniques, nature-based solutions and green infrastructure (green roofs, bioretention, reservoirs, permeable pavements, etc.), storm drainage master plans, hydrological and hydrodynamic modeling, and monitoring. She has experience in geoprocessing, water resources management, ecohydrology, wetlands. Professor at the Graduate Program in Civil Engineering (PPGEC) and Environmental Engineering (PPGEAmb) at UFSM, advising at the master's and doctoral levels.
