Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Civil Engineering (PPGEC-UFSM) and permanent professor of the Postgraduate Program in Environmental Engineering (PPGEAmb-UFSM), a course of which he was coordinator from 2013 to 2019. Responsible for the disciplines of hydrological modeling and urban drainage and advisor of 16 master's, 3 doctorates and more than 75 undergraduate students (TCCs / internships / ICs) and co-advisor of 3 master's. CNPq Research and Productivity Fellow since 2017, he participates and coordinates several research and extension projects related to ​​Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation, as leader of the Hydroenvironmental Modeling and Ecotechnologies Research Group (ecotecnologias.org).
