Kashfia Nazneen is a PhD student and Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). She completed her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Civil Engineering at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). Before joining UTA in 2024, Ms. Nazneen worked for over five years as a professional civil engineer with the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB). During this time, she contributed to various government projects aimed at disaster prevention and agricultural development. Her academic, research, and professional background has provided her with expertise in hydrology, water resource management, remote sensing, and data analysis. She is particularly passionate about creating sustainable, data-driven solutions to address challenges posed by natural disasters and climate change.
