Er. Ihjas K presently works as a Scientist at the Ecology and Environment Research Group of the KSCSTE-Centre for Water Resources Development and Management (CWRDM). Over the last eight years, his work has focused on diverse R&D, and management projects in the water and environmental sector. He got involved in multiple projects and contributed immensely to the field of environmental management for the state of Kerala. He has various publications such as articles, book chapters, conference papers, and knowledge products. Before joining CWRDM, he worked as an environmental expert in UAE, where he served as a consultant in regional and international projects in various emirates of UAE. He has also served as an environmental expert in one of the UAE’s prestigious artificial islands, Yas South Development projects. He is a Civil Engineering and has done his M. Tech degree in Environmental Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur.
