Dr. Bingner is an Agricultural Engineer and the Research Leader with the Watershed Physical Processes Unit located in Oxford, Mississippi. His research involves the development of methods for: predicting and controlling sediment yield and other pollutants from small fields to large agricultural watersheds applied nationwide; riparian and wetland components within watershed models for application at watershed scales; for ephemeral gully erosion models; and investigating and evaluating the effectiveness of riparian systems, instream stabilization structures, and conservation practices on improving water quality.
