Majid Shafiee-Jood is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Virginia, where he also serves as the Director of Graduate Studies. Shafiee-Jood conducts interdisciplinary research at the intersection of climate risk management, water management, decision making, and policy. Shafiee-Jood has a Ph.D. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2013, Shafiee-Jood received the Outstanding Reviewer award from ACSE Journal of Water Resources Planning and Management.
