Ella Steins is a research assistant at the Chair of Smart Water Networks in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Transport Systems at TU Berlin. She has a background in physical engineering science, and acquired her doctoral degree in Computational Engineering at RWTH Aachen University.
Ella’s research focuses on digitalisation of urban water management, where the identification and localisation of leakages is a main research question. Further addressing robustness and uncertainty quantification, the accessibility of the digital strategies is increased by integrating uncertainties into the modelling and prediction.
