I'm a teaching assistant for geotechnical engineering at Iowa State University (ISU), where I'm also working on my PhD in the field. I'm originally from Brazil, where I graduated in civil engineering, and I spent two years working as an engineer before transitioning into graduate studies. Balancing practical experience with academic research has given me a well-rounded perspective on geotechnical engineering and I'm glad I get to learn even more in graduate school
