Félix Santiago-Collazo is an Assistant Professor in Resilient Infrastructure for Sustainability and Equity at the School of Environmental, Civil, Agriculture, and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Georgia. Felix holds an M.S. and B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University. Felix has a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license from the Puerto Rico Board and has more than eight years of experience in flood modeling. Felix’s research interests include Multi-flood hazard assessments, Hybrid infrastructure solutions, Water equity, and Flood Resilience. He leads the Compound Inundation Team for Resilient Applications (CITRA) research lab, which develops and implements practical solutions to complex flood problems from inland to the coast. The CITRA Lab motto is the nexus between research and application.
