Chief Scientist
Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Washington, United States
Dr. Nathalie Voisin is Chief Scientist for regional climate-energy dynamics in the Earth System Predictability and Resilience group at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Her research focuses on advancements in hydrometeorological forecasting and coupling of human-Earth system models to unlock new understanding around critical energy-water systems. More specifically, her team characterizes complex climate threats, and reveals new opportunities by developing the next generation of power system-relevant hydro-climate forecasts. Dr Voisin holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA where she now also has a dual appointment as Professor. She holds a M.Sc. in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and a B.
