Ben Janke is a Research Associate at the St. Anthony Falls Laboratory at the University of Minnesota. He has a PhD in Civil Engineering and has spent the last 10+ years working on problems broadly related to management of water quality in urban lakes and streams. His work has focused on understanding sources and transport of pollutants in urban watersheds, improving stormwater management practices such as detention ponds, and assessing urban flooding and runoff pollution through development and application of various modeling approaches.
