Dr. Camacho is a Water Resources Engineer with twelve years of experience leading hydrodynamic, water quality and sediment transport modeling projects. He has participated in the development of multiple hydrodynamic and water quality modeling studies for rivers, lakes, estuaries and coastal ecosystems of the United States as part of State and Federal environmental management projects. Dr. Camacho also specializes in the development and implementation of Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) models to support hydraulic design projects such as dam upgrades and fish passage design and in the implementation of uncertainty analysis of multi-dimensional hydrodynamic and water quality models. Dr. Camacho is currently the Vice-Chair of the ASCE TMDL Analysis and Modeling Task Committee and member of the ASCE Computational Fluid Dynamics Modeling Task Committee.
