Dr. Jimena González-Ramírez is an environmental economist and Associate Professor at the O’Malley School of Business, Manhattan University. She earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Iowa State University and a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Loras College. Her research interests include environmental economics, behavioral economics, and inclusive pedagogy techniques. Her research investigates ways to promote pro-environmental behavior through incentives and nudges. Has published in prestigious journals such as Review of Environmental Economics and Policy, Annual Reviews of Resource Economics, Agricultural and Resource Economics Review, and Sustainability, among others. Dr. González-Ramírez has delivered numerous conference presentations and seminars. She was awarded an NSF grant for a project aimed at increasing diversity in economics. She is one of the editors of International Review of Economics Education and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Business and Economics Studies. Lastly, she is part of the Board of the Eastern Economics Association.
