Ana is a Ph.D. student in the Earth Systems Sciences Program. She has a BS degree in Civil Engineering and an MS degree in Water Resources and Sanitary Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre, Brazil. During her Ph.D., Ana is working on wetland water quality modeling and their impacts at watershed scale, as well as carbon dynamics within wetlands.
