Guo Mengshen is a Ph.D. candidate in Civil Engineering at Tongji University, specializing in wetland ecohydrology and the carbon cycle, focusing on the Dongting Lake wetland in China. Her research utilizes remote sensing technology and surface-groundwater models to study water-carbon migration. She holds an M.S. in Hydraulic Engineering from Beijing Normal University and a B.S. in Groundwater Science from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan). Guo has received awards such as the 2024 Outstanding Graduate Presentation Award and has published papers in Journal of Hydrology and Water.
