Marco J. M. Neves Marco is currently Acting Director of ANA. He graduated in Agricultural Engineering and has a master’s degree in Environmental Technology and Water Resources from the University of Brasília. He was a visiting researcher at the Australian Rivers Institute at Griffith University, Australia (2018).
Marco Neves worked in irrigated agriculture from 1985 to 1999 and at the Ministry of the Environment (MMA) from 2000 to 2010, having held the position of Director of Water Resources at the National Secretariat of Water Resources and Urban Environment (SRHU/MMA) in 2010. From 2020 to 2022, he was Superintendent of Water Resources and Sanitation at the Secretariat of Environment and Sustainable Development of the State of Goiás.
