Dr. Wren is a Research Hydraulic Engineer with the Watershed Physical Processes Research Unit located in Oxford, Mississippi. His assignment is to perform field and laboratory research on sediment transport, reservoir sedimentation, and protection of earthen embankments from wind-driven waves. Specific areas of research include: suspended sediment mechanics, quantification of changes in watershed erosion by studying sediments stored in lakes, the design of floating wave barriers for earthen embankment protection, and assessment of levee erosion by waves.
