Dr. Ayla BİLGİN works as a Professor at Artvin Çoruh University, Department of Environmental Engineering. She completed her doctorate degree on the biological treatment of organochlorinated pesticides in the Department of Environmental Engineering at Hacettepe University, Ankara/Turkey. Before working as an academician, she worked as an environmental engineer for the private sector on environmental impact assessment and environmental management. Her research areas are water quality, water management, treatment technologies, biological treatment and environmental impact assessment. She worked on an anaerobic treatment for postdoctoral research in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Princeton University (New Jersey, USA) between 2016 and 2017.
