Tyler Phillips received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in computing, computational mathematics, science, and engineering from Boise State University, in 2009, 2014, and 2020, respectively. He is currently a Power and Energy Systems Researcher with the Idaho National Laboratory, Energy and Environmental Science and Technology Group. His research interests include power and energy system simulations, numerical computing, and data analysis in the areas of resilient control, resilience metrics, integration of renewable generation, microgrids, and dynamic line ratings. He is also involved with the interaction of human factors in power systems.
