Taylor obtained a B.S. in Environmental Conservation Biology at Kent State University (Kent, Ohio), where she conducted undergraduate research on green roof runoff quantity and quality. After undergraduate, she worked in the National Center for Water Quality Research at Heidelberg University (Tiffin, Ohio) for three years, conducting the laboratory analysis for water quality monitoring of Lake Erie tributaries, supporting algal bloom research. Taylor began her M.S. in Environmental Science at the Department of Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering at Ohio State University (Columbus, Ohio) in the fall of 2023, while simultaneously taken on a role as Laboratory Coordinator for their Ecohydrology Laboratory. She is broadly interested in water quality research surrounding urban green infrastructure.
