Mr. Heineman has 35 years of experience in urban collection systems analysis and modeling. He has developed or reviewed collection systems models of all types in 100 communities worldwide using EPA SWMM, PCSWMM, SewerGEMS, InfoSWMM, InfoWorks ICM, and MIKE URBAN. He has made numerous contributions to SWMM’s development over three decades and is a leading contributor to the SWMM-USERS online forum. He is the principal developer of CDM Smith's NetSTORM software (www.dynsystem.com/NetSTORM) for precipitation frequency analysis and pre- and post-processing of collection system modeling data. He has taught in academic and professional settings, including semester classes and collection system modeling short courses.
