After earning his PhD in Applied Marine Physics at the University of Miami, Dr. Marcelo Lago co-founded Lago Consulting and Services LLC in 2013 where he has since served as technical lead on various projects. Dr. Lago's main area of expertise is numerical modeling of water resources, in which he has 20 years of experience. For Atlas 15, he is leading efforts to enhance and evaluate nonstationary precipitation frequency methods.
