Sifan A. Koriche

Dr. Sifan A. Koriche is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Alabama Water Institute, University of Alabama, where he focuses on large-scale hydrological modeling and climate change research. He is also a member of the Cooperative Institute for Research to Operations in Hydrology (CIROH), contributing to advancements in hydrological modeling and forecasting. Dr. Koriche holds a PhD in Atmosphere, Oceans, and Climate Science from the University of Reading, UK, where his research explored the drivers and feedbacks affecting the Caspian Sea hydroclimate. His academic journey includes securing prestigious fellowships, such as the Netherlands Fellowship Program and the Marie Curie Research Fellowship. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Koriche has worked on major international projects funded by the European Union and the National Science Foundation. His contributions to the field are reflected in publications in top journals, including JGR: Atmospheres, Environmental Research Letters, and Earth Science Reviews.
