Dr. Greg Williams obtained his BEng and MEng in Chemical Engineering from McGill University and his PhD from the University of Toronto. He has followed that with 25 years in the water industry, the last 15 years in stormwater. Dr. Williams has spent most of his career in a lab generating data, then trying to do something useful with it. This has resulted in 6 patents, and counting. Meanwhile, Dr. Williams has actively attempted to give back to the broader water community through participating on committees and presenting at conferences. He has taken on leadership roles as President of SWEMA (2 terms), manufacturing representative on the WEF Stormwater Institute Advisory Committee, member of the STEPP Leadership Group and Chair of ASTM Subcommittee ASTM E64.01. He was a contributor to the ASCE-EWRI book: Stormwater Manufactured Treatment Devices Certification Guidelines.
