Mithu Chanda is a Civil and Environmental Engineering Master’s student at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC). Since joining UTC in January 2023 to pursue his MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Mithu has been working as a graduate research and teaching assistant in the Department of Civil and Chemical Engineering. He also worked as a Civil Engineering Intern at the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) during the summer of 2024. Before joining UTC, he worked as an Assistant Civil Engineer at POSCO Engineering & Construction (E&C), a reputed multinational E&C company, in Bangladesh for a couple of years. He is committed to addressing water and environmental challenges and is passionate about creating sustainable solutions that protect natural resources and enhance resilience in urban environments.
