M.Sc. Marie-Philine Gross is a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Smart Water Networks in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Transport Systems at TU Berlin. She acquired her master’s degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering at TU Berlin.
Marie’s research focuses on urban water demand modelling and management as well as utilizing machine learning for insights into human-water interactions across urban scales, e.g. for non-intrusive water consumption detection. Her research aims to contribute insights into the trade-offs of water demand and supply strategies under future climate scenarios.
