Fatemeh Yavari is a Ph.D. student in the Civil Engineering department. She graduated from a Master’s degree in Water Engineering and Hydraulic Structures from Tarbiat Modares University, Iran, with having experience in research areas of Urban Flood Modeling, Hydrology, Hydraulic, and Hydrodynamic Modeling of Flow. She works as a graduate research assistant under the supervision of Dr. Naresh Devineni, and her research area is focusing on urban flood modeling in New York City.
