Janet Curran is a Hydrologist with the USGS Alaska Science Center and serves as a principal investigator within the Water, Ice, and Landscape Dynamics office. For more than 20 years, she has led investigations of streamflow statistics and geomorphology for federal, state, and local entities in Alaska, with topics including streamflow-generating mechanisms, streamflow statistics, glacial streamflow, channel migration, and aquatic habitat. She has authored flood frequency estimation equations for Alaska and numerous other hydrologic analyses of Alaska streamflow data.
