Sunil Bista is a PhD student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Jackson State University. He holds a Master's degree in Hydropower Engineering from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Pokhara University, Nepal.
Sunil's research focuses on hydrological modeling, climate change impacts on water resources, and flood risk assessment. He has expertise in various spatial tools, programming languages, and hydrodynamic modeling software. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, and he has presented at international conferences including AGU and EGU.
Prior to his doctoral studies, Sunil worked as a researcher at the Centre for Disaster Studies at Tribhuvan University and as a civil engineer for the Government of Nepal. He has also contributed to projects related to hydropower development and alternative energy promotion.
