Dr. Muhammad Tariq Bashir, a distinguished professional engineer and researcher. He holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia and currently serves as the Professor and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering at CECOS University of IT and Emerging Sciences, Pakistan. His expertise spans water and wastewater treatment, biomaterials, environmental engineering, climate change, and sustainability. He has authored numerous publications in high-impact journals and book chapters, and his contributions to the field have earned him several awards, including the Best Researcher Award from CECOS University and recognition on the Wall of Pride by the Government of Punjab. He is a research fellow at INTI International University, Malaysia, and has been a keynote speaker and reviewer at international conferences. He has supervised 25 MS students and 3 PhD candidates as an HEC-approved supervisor, instilling in them a global perspective and confidence in their work.
