Ayman Mokhtar is a PhD student in Water Resources Engineering at the University of South Carolina (USC). His research interests include dam safety, hydrologic modeling, hydraulic modeling, flood modeling. He holds a Master’s degree from Cairo University in Cairo, Egypt, with thesis research in hydrologic analysis, where he developed an approach to extend the application of the SCS curve number method for estimating annual direct runoff in arid regions.
