Sam Holberg is a PhD student at North Carolina State University in the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering. Previously, he received a bachelor's in Biosystems Engineering from Clemson University. He is currently researching in the Environmental Sediment Mechanics Group under the direction of Dr. Celso Castro-Bolinaga. He currently works on projects related to the numerical modeling of hydrodynamic and sediment mechanics around oyster systems.
