Amna is an enthusiastic environmental engineer. She has 8+ years’ experience in environment, water supply and sanitation, and engineering management. Currently, she is a PhD student (2023-2026) at the civil and environmental department at the engineering collage of Rowan University. She aims to contribute to water-energy nexus, through her research work related to Drinking Water Treatment Pants (DWTPs) energy efficiency and benchmarking. Furthermore, she awarded the Dutch government scholarship for 2019 year to purse her Master studies in environmental science and technology (2019-2012) at IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, the Netherlands. Also, she is an alumna of MR Obama programs, the ex-president of the USA, to invest in the coming young African leaders, namely Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) and Mandela Washington Fellowship (MWF) in 2019 & 2022 respectively.
