Mariam Khanam is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Water Resources Science and Engineering Group at ORNL. Her focal research interests are- Investigating hydroclimatic extreme hazards, and the impact of climate change on flood geomorphology, land surface processes, and the future of water resources. She is also interested in Large and Global scale flood modeling and vulnerability assessment. Mariam hopes to pursue research focusing on her interests in serving the community by delivering scientific solutions to extreme hydroclimatic challenges and contribute to sustainable water resource management in the context of a changing climate.
